I watched Don’s interview on the news tonight. Don – You ROCK!!

  3. My bees died before the end of December. I even found drones among the dead bees. Plenty of honey available.

All four of my hives are deadouts. Had capped honey available but it looked like when they broke cluster they froze.

  5. Nice interview Don!
I’m glad to hear that it isn’t just me, I was feeling like I screwed up this winter.

All 6 were still buzzing mid january. I’ve lost 4 of 6, and the remaining 2 are light. 1 starved, 2 had nosema symptoms, and one I didn’t expect to make it but had hoped. Time to break out the feeders.

We stumbled upon a swarm in June last year and started our first hive.. They did great all summer/fall and even the first arctic blast in December! Checked them 2 weeks ago.. Lost them all :( They were still buzzing in late January but looks like they ran out of food.
